A Breather

Hi everyone!

While I have enjoyed connecting with everyone during the past year or so, I am afraid that I am going to have to take a hiatus from my blog. The blog has gotten away from being a place where I could share some thoughts and some half way decent photographs. I am not at a place right now where I can continue the blog in that same light. There are just too many personal things going on....

For those of you who know us, Scott and I have separated after 22 years of marriage. The decision, at least for me, has been a painful one and I did not make that decision lightly. This has now propeled me into the role of head of household, which I do not mind, but I cannot find a full time job to save my life. I need to focus all of my energy on that so that the girls and I can continue to have a place to stay and to eat. All of the stress produced from these things has kept me from blogging in a way that I want to continue to blog.

Therefore, I will not blog until I can get right with God again and find my positive energy. No one wants to hear people complain and whine, and I don't want to be a complainer. Thanks for all of the positive energy that many of you have been sending my way. Keep me on your prayer lists-I want a hand up not a hand out! God bless all of you and a huge special thank you to R.R. for showing me the truth.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day Y'all! Grab some cinnamon hearts and some cider or coffee and have a seat! Rachel Anne asked how we celebrated Valentine's Day. Well girls, I have to let you know that around here February is BUSY!!! We have three birthday's within 9 nine with the first one starting the day after Valentine's Day. Yep...all three of us girls are done within 9 count them, 9 days.

So for Valentine's I get the girls some candy and a card. We focus on the family during Valentine's Day and talk about the love we have as a family. I want to take the girls somewhere special tomorrow so that we can spend some time together. I hope that all of you have a great weekend!

Company Girl Coffee-A Week In Review

Good evening Company Girls, come on in. I have some flavored coffee, some green tea, and lots of hot chocolate. We can do each others nails while we chat.

This year has started out with a bang and I am still working on a variety of things. The girls and I are settling into our new routines and things are going well. We had some flurries this week again. The girls were ecstatic.
I love how snow makes everything look fresh and new. Snow can turn even the plainest of items into something magical. I guess it is kind of like that with the Lord. The Lord can turn any of us into something special, something greater than what we would be alone.
My weekend plans are to get my early birthday present from my family (Cephalon cookware); watch Betty Crocker there play another b-ball game; visit some more with my Aunt and Uncle who are visiting and hopefully working on taxes. I hope all of you are safe, warm, and happy this weekend.

Girls Gone Bad

The girls and I are working hard. Well that's not exactly true-I am working hard and the girls are being lazy. I had to get them into gear. I ask you, why does it take two days to clean a bedroom? I can't figure that one out either.

I cannot believe that it is already February. Where did January go? How did that happen?

Who Wrote This?

While taking some time out during the day to catch up on some blogs, I was shocked to learn what happened to a fellow blogger.

Journalism carries with it a certain responsibility. If you cannot take the time to properly credit quotes, then don't become a journalist. If you cannot take the time to make sure that there is no ambiguity about your content, then don't publish it. Reporters have been getting a bad name and who can blame the public? Shame on you
Times on Line!

Company Girl Coffee

Happy Friday everyone!
I am still in the midst of major changes Company Girls and I could really use your prayers right now. Rachel Anne, at Home Sanctuary, has challenged us to come with a housekeeping schedule. While I have a huge portion of the work done, until next week gets here, I am not able to complete the schedule. I thought I would share my top 7 blessings for the week -
6-My sweet little Tink, the poodle, who always knows when I need a cuddle.
5-The doctors who keep seeing my kids with all of their bumps and bruises. Sometimes
I think it would be easier to move in!
4-My boss, Shelly, who took me out on a tough night for me. We had a great gripe session.
Thanks for listening. (She is an awesome person to work for.)
3-My friends who have closed ranks around me. Your outpouring of love and support has been
so generous that it has brought me to tears on occasion. I don't know when I will be able
to return the favor, but somehow I will show you how much I appreciate it.
2-My family who is helping me get through this though time by keeping my head above water.
Thank you for helping me keep clear headed so that I will do the right thing. Thank you for
not trying to get back at the other person. Thank you for the donations. Just plain old thank
you.
1-My girls whose honesty has not always been easy, but it has been appreciated. We will get
through this together. I love you more than you will ever know. Everything I do is for you.

Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes

I know that I haven't been posting as much as usual. There are significant changes going on in my life right now that keep me from doing this as much as I would like. Give me a couple of weeks and I will be back in the groove again. I promise that I will explain everything later.
