I know that many of you are ready for me to get off of Peanut's gymnastics program and I have one thing to say about that-you can't stop a momma from braggin'! Is she Olympics gymnastics caliber? No. She won't ever be either. This is just for fun. Isn't that what being a kid is all about? Our parents didn't watch us play neighborhood football, softball, or b-ball games and think, "Let's get this kid started on a program. They need to eat _______, drink _________ and just play ______." Nope. They just let us play. Remember the fun you had?
Peanut is having fun here. Lugnut told me that what she is doing is called a scale. Lugnut did gymnastics until she got too tall for the equipment!
She stuck her landing!
Next up was vault. Peanut can have some trouble with this because she doesn't have enough power off of the board. (Wish I had that problem!)

I remember when my eldest was in gymnastics when she was 5...they really have no fear at that age do they?...and so flexible...good grief,..we could only dream :*)...I totally related to that Marley book!
The beam and the vault look like so much fun! Her scale looks pretty.
