Rachel over at Home Sanctuary wanted to know how we were doing with her daily challenges this week. Here is an update:
One of the things that she said is for us to take some time for ourselves. I spent some time soaking in the tub in my bathroom. Let me show you why I love my bathroom. Come on in-

You see this gorgeous mirror when you first walk in. I love it. It is hand made and came from somewhere in Asia. We have a great little import place here. It was on sale several years ago. I love sales! I also love how it matches my wallpaper border.

This is one of the corner shelves that Mako Man made for me. I love how it fits into the overall look of the room.

This window is centered at the tub. The wallpaper border wouldn't fit under it, so I glued flat glass onto it to continue the mosiac feel. I love those stones.

OK, I just noticed the picture is crooked. I promise you I fixed it as soon as I stopped typing. I loved the way this picture fits into the look of the bathroom. Yep...I really, really, love this room. If we ever have to move, I am going to miss this room the most I think.

Rachel Anne also wanted us to straighten our sheets on the bed and even wash and neatly fold (gasp) some if we needed to. I did, but I don't want to show you my bed because it is covered in clothes that I need to put away. Instead I though I would show what my bedroom walls look like. The color is darker than what I originally intended, but I have grown to like it. I love this painting too.

Another challenge that Rachel gave us was to eat some fruit. I was able to get the two girls to eat some fruit. Too bad she didn't give us points for ACTING fruity but I could get a boatload for these two.

The last challenge was to start something with a clean slate. In order for me to put out all of the decorations, I have to remove quite a few things. I usually put this deer in my bathroom. I often decorate my bathroom in all white. This year because of my work schedule, I am scaling back and just decorating in the public areas. I put him on the top of the boat case.

Of coarse Peanut's elf, Oakley, is still causing mischief. He tried to decorate our tree for us and darn near knocked the thing over with a wooden ladder. On top of that, he got tangled up. I don't know how he keeps taking pictures of himself, but here he is, in the tree again. Oh well...at least he hasn't tried to drive my again.

I was just about to email you and demand a cup of coffee at your house, when I saw that you linked up! Oh, yay!
This was a super fun tour!!! I just love your bathroom..your mirror and border go together perfectly. And the boat picture is so peaceful.
I'm, of course, a big fan of faux finishing, so I really like your bedroom walls. Very rich looking.
Points for being fruity.....that's a good one! I should have thought about making that a bonus option.
So glad you linked up...Sunday latte works for me! Thanks!
good job on your small things this past week!!! love your bathroom too.
