Rachel Anne at Home Sanctuary has a great verse for this month. It is Psalms 90:17. To sum it up, it is about resting in the beauty of God and allowing him to establish his work through our hands.
I think that is a great verse for this month. Working with teens who have been suspended from school we see children who sometimes have lost their way. I don't judge; I don't preach. I just try to help them get from where they are to where they want to be. I hope that God is using me to shape these children's destinies.
Along those lines, have you notice how some blogs seem to be used to hurt others? I am working hard on praying for those people. They need our compassion and our prayers. I, for one, am going to try really hard to make sure that nothing that I write here will hurt someone-friend, family member, or stranger. Sometimes I slip, especially when it comes to what is going on here at our beaches, but I am really going to try and get better about that. I think we need to let God tell us what to do.

What a worthy goal! Not hurting others is so important, especially for Christians. How are we to win others to Christ if all they can see is our unkindness? Yes, a sledge hammer seldom works, compassion and prayers is certainly the way to go! Great post, Kim
